Washington DC, Junior/Senior Class Trip
$2400 was raised which supported transportation and meal costs for the group. Thank you to all to contributed to the fundraising events.
The 2nd Annual Lighthouse Christian Academy Golf Tournament was held on the anniversary of 9/11, Driving to the tournament, held a Malibu Country Club, we pass Pepperdine University where 2,977 flags on 10 foot poles were placed in honor of the people who died in the 9/11 attacks.
The tournament began promptly at 11:30 with over 10 teams taking off on the beautiful 18 hole course. Principal Dick Cornett said it was a fun day but an unforgiving course.
Over $20,000 was raised for the Lighthouse Christian Academy through tournament play, hole sponsorship, our gold sponsors and raffle and silent auction prize sales.
The delicious Mexican Buffet dinner was a great way to end the day.
